Service Equity Analysis
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (codified at 42 U.S.C. §2000D et seq.) prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin. As a recipient of federal funds, Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro) must ensure that it provides its services without discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin. CapMetro conducts Service and Fare Equity (SAFE) analysis in accordance with Title VI policies adopted by the board on June 28, 2021.
