Capital Metro Service Guidelines and Standards

The Capital Metro board of directors approved a revised and expanded Service Guidelines and Standards document on Nov. 16, 2011. This document is a service planning tool that reflects the mission and goals of Capital Metro.

The document contains guidelines for the provision, design, and allocation of service. Guidelines are to be used with some flexibility.

The document also contains methodology by which existing services are evaluated and how low and high-performing routes are identified. Standards are to be applied rigorously and consistently in determining the performance of individual routes.

The Service Guidelines and Standards is a living document and will be reviewed at least every other year with the Capital Metro board of directors.

Read the Capital Metro Service Guidelines and Standards.
