Drug Free Workplace
Capital Metro is a Drug Free Workplace
We cannot allow the illegal use, manufacture, distribution, sale or possession of narcotics, drugs or other controlled substances in our workplace. In fact, we have strict policies that prohibit drugs and alcohol in the work place.
In accordance with federal regulations and company policy, successful applicants for some positions are required to pass a substance abuse test and a physical examination. In some cases, we'll have to take additional screening steps to complete your background check, including a check on your criminal background, employment history, work references and driving record.
Federal Transportation Authority regulations also require random and unannounced testing for substance abuse for all safety-sensitive employees. All safety-sensitive employees will have an equal chance of being selected for testing, regardless of previous random selections.
