We accept applications at the Capital Metro office from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You have four options for getting your application to us:

(Our offices are located at East Fifth Street and Pleasant Valley Road, two miles east of downtown via Seventh Street)
Job Requirements
If you're applying for the position of Bus Operator or another safety-sensitive position, you must complete an application and then pass a physical that includes drug and alcohol screening. In addition, you'll need to pass an agility test for most positions, and have a clean driving record and no criminal record.
Please be aware that resumes cannot be considered in place of a completed application, but can serve as a source of additional information. It's our policy to check references and driving records, and to complete criminal background checks for all positions.
Positions in Operations (Safety-sensitive positions)
To apply for positions at Capital Metro, you must fulfill the following:
- Complete and submit an application
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Pass an agility test and a DOT physical, including a drug screening
- Pass the Class B/CDL license requirements
