- Introduction of CSAC members and CMTA Staff. Mr. Cortez provided a brief overview of the purpose of CSAC and the status of the current effort to reconstitute the Committee. Members’ briefly introduced themselves.
- All Systems Go! Update. Mr. Cortez presented a brief summary of Capital Metro’s history and current operations, as well as an update on the implementation of the All Systems Go! Long Range Transportation Plan.
- August 2007 Service Changes. Mr. Gamez provided a summary of service changes that will become effective in August of 2007. Ms. Maloukis expressed concern about the proposed schedule for the 201 Route and lack of Saturday service to Akins High School. Several CSAC members expressed an interest in a briefing regarding CMTA’s service planning guidelines and how it is integrated into planning activities in order to better understand routes and stop placement.
- Review of CSAC Charter and Bylaws. In the interest of time, this item was tabled to a future meeting.
- Action Items.
- Review proposed Saturday schedule for Route 201 to Akins High School
- Develop CSAC Calendar
- Recruit additional CSAC members
- - Schedule future CSAC briefing on CMTA Service Planning Guidelines
