MINUTES
  1. Introduction of CSAC members, staff, and visitors
    CSAC Members:Oscar Estrada Gaytan, Rich MacKinnon, David Patterson, Marilyn Jackson, Amber Gugino, Laura Willard, BJ Taylor, Leslie Luciano, Kirk Royal, Jean Mather
    Staff:John-Michael Cortez, James Gamez, Dottie Watkins, Adam Perkins
    Visitors:Michael Zitz-Evanich
  2. Approval of Minutes for January 13, 2010, February 10, 2010 and March 10, 2010 CSAC Meetings

    The January and February minutes were approved by the committee. Mr. Patterson and Mr. Royal abstained from approval of minutes.

  3. Citizens Communication

    Mr. Zitz-Evanich suggested the committee recommend not deleting service in the Fall.

  4. Proposed Fall 2010 Service Changes

    Mr. Gamez presented to the committee the proposed Fall 2010 service changes in detail.

    Mr. MacKinnon suggested a display of the decreased run times for people to see during such presentations.

    CSAC Recommendations:

    Ms. Willard suggested improved timing of 323/383 with MetroRail schedule at Lakeline Station, North Lamar Transfer Center and South Lamar Transfer Center.

    Mr. Gaytan would like to see a database built so that people could give suggestions/input on routes. Would like to have changes on the brochure with eliminated routes better presented. Mr. Cortez mentioned following up with Marketing to create an eliminated route proposal brochure to specify these routes.

    Mr. Gaytan recommended adding one stop to Route 101 on South Congress between Barton Springs Rd and Oltorf St.

    Ms. Luciano’s recommended increased communications with City departments in multi-modal transportation.

    Ms. Taylor suggested Route 37 connect to Route 350 on Aldrich, ensuring service to Cameron and Rutherford and the Social Security office.

    Mr. Patterson would like to recommend that service be reduced for the routes instead of eliminated.

    Mr. Royal moved to approve to approve the recommendations with Ms. Taylor seconding the motion. The resolution was adopted with Mr. Patterson opposing.

  5. FY 2011 Budget Guidelines

    Tabled due to lack of time.

  6. CSAC Officer Vacancy

    Tabled due to lack of time.

  7. Report from Urban Transportation Commission – Rich MacKinnon

    Tabled due to lack of time.

  8. Report from ACCESS Committee – David Patterson

    Tabled due to lack of time.
