Capital Metro Launches i-Ride Contest
Winners Could Become Local Star February 13, 2008NEWS FACTS
- Today, Capital Metro launched a new, interactive contest, known as i-Ride, which could earn riders the chance to become a local star and other great prizes.
- The contest focuses on customers' testimonials about their reasons for riding Capital Metro.
- Riders can share their stories through video, song, photos, poems and more.
- Participants can submit a video or audio recording via YouTube.
- Capital Metro will post pictures and profiles of i-Riders on a special website, www.capmetro.org/i-ride and also on popular social media web sites Flickr and Facebook.
- Contestants with the best and most unique testimonials could win an i-Phone, a $500 gift card or the chance to be featured on Capital Metro bus advertisements.
- All this week Capital Metro staff and volunteers, dressed as i-Ride "human billboards" are reaching out to riders throughout the area and encouraging them to enter and win.
