Ride Capital Metro to the Trail of Lights

The Trail of Lights Festival, Austin's annual holiday celebration, begins Dec. 14 - 23, and Capital Metro will provide shuttles from Waterloo Park at 14th and Trinity to the festivities at Zilker Park.

Shuttles will begin loading at 6:45 p.m. each evening and will drop off passengers at the entrance of the trail. The last shuttle from Waterloo Park will load at 9:15 p.m.

The last return shuttle will leave Zilker Park each night at 10:45 p.m. The return loading zone is conveniently located in the parking lot immediately south of the Zilker Tree.

This year the round trip fee for adults and children 6 and up is $3. Children 5 and under are $1. Tickets will be available starting at 6:30 p.m. each night. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Capital Area Food Bank and get $1 off per ticket. Limit one discount per ticket.

Parking will be available in the state lots adjacent to Waterloo Park for $5 per vehicle.
