Fall Service Change
The Fall 2010 Service Change took effect Sunday, August 22, 2010. The changes are in accordance with Capital Metro's Service Standards and are based on recommendations from ServicePlan2020, a 10-year plan to improve bus service. The changes will increase efficiency of the system while improving route directness and connectivity.
Here is a summary of the changes:

| 6 East 12th | Service realigned from Tracor; schedules and frequencies improved. |
| 7 Duval/Dove Springs | Service extended north from Highland Mall to East St. John's, Cameron Rd. and the Rutherford Wal-Mart. |
| 9 Enfield/Travis Heights | Route eliminated due to low ridership. Alternative service options are routes 21, 22, 228 (new), 300. |
| 10 Red River/South First | Trips eliminated to North Plaza and number of trips increased to City of Austin Day Labor Center during weekdays and Saturday mornings. |
| 17 Cesar Chavez | Eastern segment of route realigned off Ed Bluestein and Smith Rd. |
| 18 Martin Luther King | Service realigned out of Techni Center and Springdale Hills neighborhood. Alternative service options: routes 6 and 323. |
| 23 Johnny Morris | Route eliminated due to low performance and replaced most service with Route 323. |
| 29 Barton Hills | Route eliminated due to low ridership and some service replaced with Route 30. |
| 30 Barton Creek | Service extended from Barton Springs Rd. to northern portion of the Barton Hills neighborhood. Service also extended from Barton Creek Mall to South Congress Transit Center. Route improves bus access to South Austin Hospital. |
| 37 Colony Park/Windsor Park | Route realigned through Mueller development between Airport Blvd. and 51st St., but serves southbound I-35 frontage during weekday midday period (9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.). Service alternative: Route 320. |
| 101 N. Lamar/S. Congress Ltd. | Additional morning southbound and afternoon northbound trips between North Lamar Transit Center and Downtown. |
| 171 Oak Hill Flyer | A new midday trip added to provide service between UT/Downtown and the Oak Hill Park & Ride (departs UT at 1:10 p.m.; departs Oak Hill at 1:20 p.m.). Only two morning trips (6:45 and 7:25) departing Oak Hill and three afternoon trips (4:20, 5:00 and 5:40) departing UT will serve the Windmill Run/Scenic Brook neighborhood and US 290 frontage. |
| 228 Burleson | A new route that replaces segments of Routes 9 and 328. Route operates every 60 minutes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays only. |
| 300 Govalle | Service extended from Burton and Oltorf to Ben White and South Congress Transit Center. |
| 320 St. Johns | Segments realigned to improve directness. Route extended north to Village Center & Far West and south to Burton & Oltorf. |
| 323 Anderson | A new route that replaces segments of Routes 23, 339, 350. Route operates every 30-60 minutes daily. |
| 328 Ben White | Route eliminated and service replaced with extension of Route 30 and new Route 228. |
| 339 Walnut Creek/Koenig | Route eliminated and service replaced with new Route 323 and extension of Route 320. |
| 350 Airport Blvd | Segment of Anderson Lane between Northcross and North Lamar Transit Center replaced with new Route 323. |
| 383 Research | Service realigned from US 183 frontage to Pond Springs. Service also realigned in Lakeline Mall area. |
| 392 Braker | Service is eliminated along Jollyville Rd between Pavilion Park & Ride and the Arboretum. Service alternative: new route 383. |
| 466 Kramer/Domain | New rail connector route at Kramer Station to serve major employers in the area. |
| RR (653) Red River | Midday and afternoon frequencies adjusted. |
| 970 Lantana | Additional afternoon northbound trip departing Oak Hill Park & Ride at 5:19 p.m. |
