Proposed Service Changes
Effective
February 2001
Following are the routes that
will be impacted in the Proposed February 2001 changes at Capital Metro:
30/328 Barton Creek / Ben White
All Days Schedules would receive
adjustments. Frequencies of service would change as follows: Weekdays to 35
minutes early morning/midday/afternoon (current 30 minutes); 40 minutes evening
(currently 36 minutes); Saturdays 40 minutes midday (currently 36 minutes) and
Sundays 40 minutes midday (currently 36 minutes).
31 Oltorf - All Days Renumbered to Route 331. No changes to route or schedules.
39 Walnut Creek - Weekdays,
Saturday Renumbered to Route 339. No changes to route or schedules.
74 N Burnet Flyer - Weekdays
Renumbered to Route 174 and renamed N Burnet Limited. No changes to route or schedules
90 HEB Shuttle - Weekdays
Renumbered to Route 490. No changes to
route or schedules
101 N Lamar Limited - Weekday
Schedules would receive adjustments during afternoon Northbound trips departing
from downtown. Frequency would remain
the same. During Southbound Afternoon
trips only, this route will serve downtown bus stops only to Congress/6th. The route would not travel to Congress/3rd
only during this time period. No
changes to current Northbound bus stops served on Congress Ave. Route will continue to serve bus stops down
to Congress/3rd during all Morning Southbound trips.
120 St Johns - All Days
Renumbered to Route 320. No changes to
route or schedules
174 N Burnet Limited - Weekdays
Replaces Route 74-N. Burnet Flyer. No changes to route or schedules.
244 Cedar Bend - Weekday,
Saturdays Service would now be operated with smaller bus types. Schedules would
receive minor adjustments.
320 St. Johns - All Days
Replaces Route 120-St Johns. No changes
to route or schedules.
331 Oltorf - All Days Replaces
Route 31-Oltorf. No changes to route or
schedules.
339 Walnut Creek - All Days
Replaces Route 39-Walnut Creek. No
changes to route or schedules.
350 Airport Blvd - Saturday,
Sunday Schedules would receive minor adjustments.
383 Research - Weekday Service
would now be operated with two bus types.
The new larger buses would accommodate more passengers. No changes to route or schedules.
450 Orange Dillo - Weekdays
Schedules would receive adjustments during Afternoon trips. No changes to current frequencies of 20
minutes midday and 30 minutes late afternoon.
No changes to Saturday or Sunday schedules.
451 Silver Dillo - Weekdays
Schedules would receive adjustments to accomodate Krieg Field Park & Ride (Pleasant
Valley Rd at Longhorn Dam). Frequencies
of service would change as follows: Weekdays to 20 minutes during morning and
afternoon peak periods (currently 18 minutes); 28 minutes during late morning
and early afternoon periods (currently 25 minutes); 11 minutes during lunch
period (currently 10 minutes). No
changes to Saturday or Sunday schedules.
455 Red Dillo - Weekdays Schedules would receive adjustments. Austin High Park & Ride trips would
operate at 12 minutes during morning and afternoon peak periods (currently 10
minutes); middays at 20 minutes (currently 17-18 minutes). Toomey Road Park & Ride trips would
operate at 12-13 minutes during morning and afternoon peak periods (currently
11-12); middays at 20 minutes (currently 18 minutes).
461 Yellow Dillo - Weekdays
Schedules would receive adjustments.
Frequency of service would change as follows: Weekdays to 11 minutes
(currently 9-10 minutes).
462 Blue Dillo - Weekdays
Schedules would receive adjustments. No
changes to frequency of service.
490 HEB Shuttle - Weekdays
Schedules would receive adjustments. No
changes to frequency of service.
