ANNUAL BUS ‘ROADEO’ THIS WEEKEND
Capital Metro
operators and celebrities put
their driving
skills to the test
Who: Local media celebrities and Capital Metro bus operators
What: Capital Metro Annual Bus and Paratransit
ROADEO
When: April
21, 2001 beginning at 8:00 AM
Where: Toney Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road (Highway
290 West between Westgate Blvd. And Brodie Lane)
It’s
ROADEO time for Capital Metro bus operators and local media celebrities. Grab your Stetson and your cowboy boots and
head out to the Toney Burger Center on Saturday, April 21. You can’t rope ‘em, but celebrities and
drivers will ride ‘em. We’re talking
diesel-charged steel bulls that can be ornery unless they have what it takes to
control them.
Capital
Metro is inviting local celebrities to climb in the saddle of a big, bad bus
and see how long they can ride the obstacle course.
Capital
Metro Operators will compete for cash prizes.
Operators could get the chance to compete at the National Bus and
Paratransit Roadeo.
Celebrities
will compete for bragging rights. We’ll
find out which local TV station, radio station, or newspaper has the best bus
cowboy or cowgirl in town.
