Rapid Stations Construction Detours 2023-2024

We are constructing several CapMetro Rapid stations in East Austin for the two new CapMetro Rapid lines: Pleasant Valley Line and Expo Line. We will update this alert when there are stop closures or detours that relate to this construction.

Oak Springs Station

Bus Route 2 Rosewood / Cesar Chavez SB will be on the following detoured route from the start of service to the end of service September 18 to October 9.

• From Airport Blvd NB
• Right on Gunter
• Left on Oak Springs to regular route
• No stops missed

Riverside Station Northbound

Stop ID 5779 at Riverside Dr and Pleasant Valley Rd is closed. Riders can catch their bus at a temporary stop just north of the closed bus stop.

Barbara Jordan Station Southbound

Stop ID 5926 at Berkman Dr and Barbara Jordan Blvd is closed.

University Hills Rapid Station WB - Construction completed on September 27.
