The Austin Transit Partnership is an independent organization with the authority and resources to design, construct and implement the Project Connect program. ATP will operate with full transparency for the community and with oversight from the Capital Metro board and Austin City Council. Our next steps will be to search for candidates who are leaders and change agents able to effectively collaborate with Capital Metro and the City of Austin leadership and staff. Chief Financial Officer/Chief Development Officer

The Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer is a highly responsible executive leadership position that reports directly to the Executive Director. This position serves as the top financial executive for the organization and is accountable for Austin Transit Partnership’s (ATP) financial controls, systems, and processes. The scope of responsibilities includes direction, management, supervision, coordination and strategic leadership of all facets of fiscal management, including, long range financial planning, financial analysis, policy development, forecasting, budget preparation and monitoring, investment and grants administration, debt management, accounting, and implementation and maintenance of financial control systems, procurement, and real estate acquisition. The incumbent will play a strategic role in positioning the organization and region to fund construction and implementation of a world class regional transportation system. The job also will oversee the real estate and procurement functions that are key to the successful implementation of Project Connect.

General Counsel/Chief Administrative Officer

The General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer reports directly to the Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) Executive Director.  This is an executive management job responsible for ATP’s legal services, community and government relations, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance functions.  As the General Counsel, this position is responsible for the management of the legal department regarding litigation, policy, contracts, and legal instruments and will advise the ATP Board of Directors (Board), management team and employees on a wide range of legal, business, financial, and corporate issues.

Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer is a highly responsible executive leadership role. This person will plan, direct, manage and oversee the engineering activities, operations and staff of the projects and programs for ATP. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of the design criteria and standards, design of rail, rail vehicles, transit systems and other ATP-related activities from the initiation of preliminary engineering through design and construction until project close-out.
