The Austin Transit Partnership is an independent organization with the authority and resources to design, construct and implement the Project Connect program. ATP will operate with full transparency for the community and with oversight from the Capital Metro board and Austin City Council. The Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer is a highly responsible executive leadership position that reports directly to the Executive Director. This position serves as the top financial executive for the organization and is accountable for Austin Transit Partnership’s (ATP) financial controls, systems, and processes. The scope of responsibilities includes direction, management, supervision, coordination and strategic leadership of all facets of fiscal management, including, long range financial planning, financial analysis, policy development, forecasting, budget preparation and monitoring, investment and grants administration, debt management, accounting, and implementation and maintenance of financial control systems, procurement, and real estate acquisition. The incumbent will play a strategic role in positioning the organization and region to fund construction and implementation of a world class regional transportation system. The job also will oversee the real estate and procurement functions that are key to the successful implementation of Project Connect.
The General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer reports directly to the Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) Executive Director. This is an executive management job responsible for ATP’s legal services, community and government relations, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance functions. As the General Counsel, this position is responsible for the management of the legal department regarding litigation, policy, contracts, and legal instruments and will advise the ATP Board of Directors (Board), management team and employees on a wide range of legal, business, financial, and corporate issues.

The Chief Engineer is a highly responsible executive leadership role. This person will plan, direct, manage and oversee the engineering activities, operations and staff of the projects and programs for ATP. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of the design criteria and standards, design of rail, rail vehicles, transit systems and other ATP-related activities from the initiation of preliminary engineering through design and construction until project close-out. The Deputy Program Officer is responsible for assuring that administrative, relationship management and strategic functions are executed in a timely, consistent and cohesive fashion. The Deputy Program Officer requires a unique background of diverse professional experiences allowing the individual to be creative thinking, collaborative and results-driven to enhance the program’s success and mission. The Director, Design and Construction is responsible for efficient, effective and excellent execution of both development and construction projects for Project Connect. The Director, Design and Construction will need to be a leader in all capital projects from start to finish, including preliminary planning, projects strategy development, high-level estimation, design, pre-construction, construction and post-projects documentation completion. The Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the planning, design and construction of rail transit systems and bus elements for the Austin Transit Partnership (ATP). These elements include the signaling system, communications system, traction electrification system, automated fare collection system, light rail vehicles, passenger stations, park-and-ride/transit center facilities, maintenance and service facilities and the Operations and Control Center. The Vehicle Engineer is responsible for directing and overseeing engineering activities related to the design, procurement, inspection, preventative maintenance for Austin Transit Partnership’s (ATP) revenue and non-revenue vehicles. The Vehicle Engineer is the prime resource for all aspects of the rolling stock. The incumbent will develop, revise, and implement vehicle engineering policies, procedures, and standards.
