Service to/from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Hop onto a MetroAirport bus for a straight shot into downtown Austin in about 30 minutes or less. We’ll whisk you to the heart of the city, where you will have direct access to the Capitol, business and entertainment districts, restaurants, museums, the University of Texas, plus the Hyatt, Omni, Marriott, and Hilton hotels. $1.75 Premium fare takes you between the airport and downtown every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour.

Getting Downtown

The MetroAirport bus will be waiting on the hour and half hour on the lower level, right outside the baggage claim, on the far right end of the passenger pick-up terminal. Look for the arrows and signs that read "Capital Metro."

Getting to the Airport

Catch a quick ride to the Airport from downtown, UT, the Capitol, and from stops along Riverside Drive.

How to Ride

  • Bring $1.75 USD in exact change or buy passes on our new app.
  • Feel free to bring luggage. There is plenty of space in the luggage racks.
  • No food, drinks, or pets allowed on board.
  • Bring your bike, if you'd like.
  • Ride takes 20-30 minutes, depending on where you board the bus.
  • All times are estimated. Please arrive at your stop 5 to 10 minutes early.
  • Scan the QR codes at Capital Metro bus stops for specific route and schedule information.
  • Note: Capital Metro is reducing the prices for our MetroRapid and MetroFlyer routes to that of Local service. Premium passes will no longer be necessary after Jan. 8, 2017. We recommend you don’t buy a monthly pass after Dec. 8, and Premium passes will no longer be sold in retail outlets after Dec. 15. You will still be able to buy them at the Transit Store or on the CapMetro App.
