CapMetro's Downtown Station Closed, January 2–5

CapMetro’s Downtown Station will be closed January 2–5 for construction related to the Austin Convention Center. 

Alternate Service Options

Dedicated buses will operate between Plaza Saltillo and Downtown Stations on days Rail normally operates.

• (Northbound) From Downtown Station to Plaza Saltillo: Dedicated buses will be located near Red River & 4th St. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to published train schedule.  

• (Southbound) From Plaza Saltillo to Downtown Station: Dedicated buses will be located near Comal & 5th St. 

Customers can also ride Route 2 (Rosewood) and Route 4 (Montopolis) to reach Downtown.

Reminder: there is no rail service on New Year’s Day or Sunday, January 4.
