Guaranteed Ride Home

Hesitant to take the bus or train to work because you might need your car in an emergency? The Guaranteed Ride Home program provides registered Express, Flyer, Rail and RideShare customers with a taxi ride home in the event of an unexpected emergency from work.  For an annual membership fee of $5, you can register and get reimbursed up to 4 emergency taxi rides a calendar year. Think of it as “commuter insurance"!

Reimbursement-eligible rides include unplanned personal emergencies from work, such as:

• Personal or family illness
• Unscheduled overtime or extended work hours
• Ridesharing vehicle breaks down or the driver is unable to make the scheduled trip home due to an unexpected work schedule or illness
