Traveling with Kids
Taking public transit with your kids is simple and inexpensive. Children younger than five have always ridden for free, and now all kids in grades K-12 with valid ID ride all Cap Metro services free of charge! Students with school-issued IDs can simply show the cards to the bus operator or fare inspector.
Strollers must be folded while in transit. Items may not block aisles, obstruct seats or be left unattended.
Note: Supervise your children. Children 10 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult and children 5 and younger should be held securely while the vehicle is in motion.
