Capital Metro Launches New Transit Initiative for Local Businesses

AUSTIN, Texas - Capital Metro will provide information about its  Business Solutions program at the Mayor's Mobility Breakfast tomorrow morning. Through the program, businesses can provide transit alternatives to their employees in order to improve operational efficiency, productivity and workplace satisfaction.

Businesses can use  MetroWorks or  MetroRideShare as options for their employees' commutes. MetroWorks provides business bulk discounts on transit passes, while MetroRideShare offers a vanpool lease agreement. Capital Metro can also host an informational booth, lunch 'n learn, one-on-one trip planning session or optional off-site Transit Adventure in order to help employees become more familiar with taking the bus or train to and from work.

The Mayor's Mobility Breakfast is organized by Movability and will recognize this year's national Best Workplaces for Commuters.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 5th, 7:30-9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Hotel Ella, 1900 Rio Grande St.
