Catch an Easy Ride to UT Football Games with CapMetro 2019

Transit service to DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium offers alternative to gameday traffic

AUSTIN, TEXAS - With the University of Texas football season starting this Saturday, CapMetro reminds Longhorn fans that transit provides a great alternative to gameday traffic congestion and high parking fees. CapMetro also offers a safe ride home after a fun day at the tailgate.

We have  6 routes that operate every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., 7 days a week serving the UT campus: Routes 7, 10, 18, 20,  801 & 803.

Two of those routes (Routes 7 & 10) and our two MetroExpress routes offering Saturday service (Routes 980 & 985) will operate on  a detour on gamedays.

A bus pass costs $1.25 one way/$2.50 round trip and can be purchased on board or with the  CapMetro App. UT students, faculty and staff ride for free with a valid school ID. Students 18 and younger ride all CapMetro services for free with a valid school ID.

Fans can plan their trip using the CapMetro online  Trip Planner, the CapMetro App or by calling the GO Line at 512-474-1200.
