CapMetro Recruiting Valuable Team Members, Signing Bonuses Offered for Some Positions

Immediate need for bus drivers and mechanics

AUSTIN, TX (August 3, 2021) – CapMetro is actively recruiting qualified bus drivers, referred to in the transit industry as bus operators, and mechanics to join its already talented workforce.

CapMetro has long prided itself in providing safe and reliable transit options to the Central Texas community. The agency wants to continue doing that by adding more bus operators and mechanics to its team. Some qualified candidates can earn up to a $3,500 signing bonus and will be offered full benefits, including medical, dental, vision and more.

CapMetro operators and mechanics have significant room for growth within the agency and are encouraged to participate in professional development sessions and trainings. Candidates with or without a Commercial Driver’s License are encouraged to apply. CapMetro offers trainings at no cost to those without the license to obtain one.
