UT Shuttles
The UT Shuttle buses operate when classes are in session from Monday to Friday and Sunday (they operate on Saturdays during finals). The shuttle system is free with a UT ID and open to the general public at Local fare.

Park & Rides
Don't live near a direct bus? Drive to one of our Park & Rides and transit centers and hop on a bus to campus, all for free.
Late Night Service
Out late? The Night Owl service operates year-round from midnight until 3 a.m. on Monday through Saturday nights and is free with a UT ID.
Buses run between popular destinations on 6th Street and local neighborhoods every 20 to 35 minutes, depending on the route. Visit Late Night Services for more details on specific routes.

Bikeshare
Our Bikeshare stations are available at over 80 locations in central Austin, including the UT campus. Memberships include unlimited 30-minute rides and cost just $30/year for UT students and $60/year for staff.

Ride Safe
We recommend all riders follow these tips while on transit vehicles and when at our facilities.
- Travel with a buddy at night.
- Never cross in front of the bus.
- Report unsafe or inappropriate behavior to CapMetro Public Safety dispatchers by calling 512-474-1200
- Always use crosswalks when walking near train tracks.
Do you attend UT and have a qualifying disability?
Riders that qualify for our paratransit service, Access, must contact the Transit Store to pickup a CapMetro Reloadable Fare Card or download the Umo app and fill out this form to receive discounted fares. You cannot use both the Umo app and the Reloadable Fare Card, you must choose one.
